Welcome

Get a book a month for more than a year by subscribing to The Sparks of YA a-Book-a-Month Club! And it’s absolutely FREE!

And some months, you’ll receive TWO free books!

If you would like to receive over TWENTY free  (and clean) books by bestselling authors of young adult fiction over the course of the next year, just tell us where to send them.

The Sparks will also host monthly giveaways of signed paperbacks, t-shirts, totes, and more!

But first, let me tell you a little about each of the authors whose books you’ll be receiving.

USA Today Bestselling author Ednah Walters has so far released four different series. Two are contemporary romance written under E.B. Walters, and two are young adult paranormal romance–her Norse-mythology-based bestselling series Runes and her Nephilim-based The Guardian Legacy. She currently lives in a picturesque valley in northern Utah with her husband, five children, and two cats.

Growing up on fairy tales and computer games,  USA Today bestselling author of YA Urban Fantasy Anthea Sharp has melded the two in her award-winning Feyland series. Her books have won or placed in the PRISM, the Maggie, the National Reader’s Choice Award, the Write Touch Reader’s Award, the Heart of Excellence, and the Book Buyer’s Best contests. She now makes her home in the Pacific Northwest, where she writes, hangs out in virtual worlds, plays the fiddle with her Celtic band Fiddlehead, and spends time with her small-but-good family.

Voted 2013 Break Out Author by Young Adult & Teen Readers, and 2013 Book of the Year (Hidden Wings), Cameo Renae is an award-winning, bestselling young adult paranormal romance and dystopian author. She and her family recently moved from Maui, Hawaii to live in the beautiful state of Alaska, where more adventures await her.

Amy Miles is the author of several novels, including her popular young adult immortal books, The Arotas Series, which are an Amazon and iBooks bestselling series. Unwilling to be defined by any one genre, she proceeded to flip over to a science fiction/fantasy based idea with her Rising Trilogy. She then dove into contemporary romance with her novel, Captivate and explored the depths of her own faith with In Your Embrace. Amy now lives with her husband and son in South Carolina.

Quinn Loftis is an award winning author of 14 novels, including the USA Today bestseller, Fate and Fury. She’s best known for her young adult paranormal romance The Grey Wolves Series. Quinn lives in beautiful Western Arkansas with her husband, three sons, Nora the Doberman, and Phoebe the Cat (who thinks she is a ninja in disguise).

USA Today bestselling author Laura Howard lives in New Hampshire with her husband and four children. Her obsession with books began at age six when she got her first library card. She writes young adult fantasy based on the fae in her well-known Danaan Trilogy.

Cindy M. Hogan is the bestselling and award winning author of the Watched trilogy, a YA suspense series with a dash of romance. She has since branched off to write a mystery, Gravediggers, that won Best YA novel of 2013, a contemporary romance, Sweet and Sour Kisses, and three in a spy series, Adrenaline RushHotwire, and Fatal Exchange. Her newest action/adventure novel, Kate Unmasked (Code of Silence: Book 1) is now available, along with two novellas, The Descension and Dangerous Truth. She lives with her family in Utah.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Brenda Hiatt has published twenty novels (so far), including sweet and spicy historical romance, time travel romance, humorous mystery, and a new young adult science fiction series called Starstruck. In addition to writing, Brenda is passionate about embracing life to the fullest, to include scuba diving (she has over 60 dives to her credit), Taekwondo (where she recently attained her 3rd degree black belt), hiking, traveling…and reading, of course!

USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Shelly Crane has published over twenty books and is best known for her Significant Series, a young adult contemporary romance. A lover of books, sweet tea, and the south, she lives in Georgia with her husband and two sons.

Allie Burton is the author of two young adult adventure series–Lost Daughters of Atlantis and Soul Warriors. She’s a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, Romance Writers of America including the Young Adult, Dallas Area Romance Writers and Heart of the Rockies chapters. She is also a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. Currently, she lives in Colorado with her husband and two children.

Bestselling author S.T. Bende‘s love of Scandinavian culture and a very patient Norwegian teacher inspired her two Norse-mythology-based paranormal romance series’, The Elsker Saga and The Ære Saga. And until she finds the perfekt ski-up chalets on Jotunheim and Hoth, she’s happy to call suburbia home.

Juli Alexander, a former Golden Heart finalist, writes fiction for teens and tweens. She released her first novel, Stirring Up Trouble, in January of 2012 and went on to publish four more books, a novella, and a short story that same year. Since then, she’s released a young adult contemporary series, Investigating the Hottie, and a young adult mystery series, Paxton Private Investigations, among others. She lives with her family in Tennessee.

A fan of Greek mythology, bestselling author Eva Pohler has published two young adult fantasy series based on it: The Gatekeeper’s Saga and The Vampires of Athens. She’s also the author of two collections of mystery/suspense, The Purgatorium Series and The Mystery Book Collection. She lives with her husband and three children in San Antonio, Texas.

      Hi Ashton,

After you create a free Smashwords account using an email address and a password, click on the image in the newsletter to get to the product page of the free book. On the Smashwords product page, click the buttom that says “buy.” You will be taken to your shopping cart, and there will be a big box that says “Coupon Code.” Enter your code there, and then click “Check out.” You will be taken to a page where you can choose whether you want the book downloaded as a mobi, epub, pdf, etc. Please write me at eva@evapohler.com if you have any trouble.

      Hi, Kelsey,

Once you subscribe, you will recieve a welcome email with a list of permafree ebooks. The next day, you will receive a link to download your first free ebook–not free to nonsubscribers. That first ebook is written by Ednah Walters. Each month thereafter, you will receive another link to download a free ebook by a new author. In addition, we do monthly giveaways, using Random dot org to choose one subscriber each month for a special prize. Does this answer your question?
